This article will assist you In the selection, downloading and installation of custom crosshairs for half life 2

Select the crosshair from the picture below pay attention to the created by name as that will be the name that you associate with the download link.

1. For D-eagl-E crosshair click D-eagl-E

2. For footsteps crosshair click footsteps

3. For Guybrush Threepwood 1 crosshair click Guybrush Threepwood

4. For Guybrush Threepwook 2 crosshair click Guybrush Threepwood 2

5. For mooseman crosshair click Mooseman

6. For rjdriver crosshair click rjdriver

7. For Vegas Butch crosshair click Vegas Butch

8. For No Brackets crosshair click No Brackets

Since you have downloaded your selection just unzip the file to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Half-Life 2 Deathmatch\hl2mp\resource on your game computer and you are in business.  This action might ask you if you want to replace the existing file you should answer yes to complete the change.  Then just go into your game and enjoy your new crosshairs. 

Installation and Removal

The crosshairs in HL2DM are stored in a file called halflife2.ttf. To install custom crosshairs, simply replace this file with the new one. To return to the default crosshair, simply delete this file and the game will automatically create the default one again.

This file can be found in the following location:

C:\Program Files\Steam\SteamApps\your_account_name\half-life 2 deathmatch\hl2mp\resource\
